The Rip & Ship Membership

These Rip & Ship Membership Terms apply specifically to the Rip & Ship Membership offered by Welcome Stranger Collectibles ("WSC", "we", "us"). They operate in addition to WSC's general Terms & Conditions.

By purchasing a Rip & Ship Membership, the customer agrees to these Membership Terms and WSC's general Terms & Conditions. If there is an inconsistency specifically relating to the Rip & Ship Membership, these Membership Terms apply to the extent permitted by law.

The Rip & Ship Membership provides members with priority access to vintage trading card packs made available through WSC's Rip & Ship stock and vintage booster box breaks.

Members select a weekly membership tier and either a 6-month or 12-month minimum commitment.

WSC will select and allocate vintage packs to the member each week based on their selected tier and available stock.

Membership tiers

The available weekly membership tiers are:

Each tier may be selected with either a:

6-month minimum commitment, consisting of at least 26 weekly payments; or

12-month minimum commitment, consisting of at least 52 weekly payments.

Weekly recurring billing

Standard memberships purchased through the WSC website are Pay As You Go recurring subscriptions.

Customers are charged only the applicable weekly membership amount on each billing cycle.

The full value of the minimum commitment is not charged upfront through the standard online subscription.

By purchasing the membership, the customer authorises WSC and its payment providers to automatically charge the nominated payment method each week.

Minimum commitment

The selected 6-month or 12-month period is a minimum commitment.

A 6-month membership requires at least 26 successful weekly payments.

A 12-month membership requires at least 52 successful weekly payments.

The customer cannot ordinarily end the membership with effect before completing the applicable minimum commitment, except where the customer has a right to do so under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Weekly vintage pack allocation

Each week, WSC will select vintage packs from available Rip & Ship stock for the member.

The intended value of each weekly allocation corresponds with the member's selected weekly tier.

WSC determines the individual pack selection and combination based on current stock, pack availability and WSC's applicable selling prices at the time of allocation.

Where pack denominations make an exact weekly value impractical, WSC may make reasonable adjustments between weekly allocations so the membership value is appropriately accounted for over time.

Specific franchises, sets, packs, boxes or individual products are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed by WSC.

Dedicated member box and storage

The packs will remain stored with WSC throughout the member's selected minimum commitment period rather than being shipped individually each week.

WSC will take reasonable care of member boxes and their contents while they are stored by WSC.

Shipping of the member box

For a 6-month membership, the accumulated member box will be prepared for dispatch after the member has successfully completed the required 26 weekly payments.

For a 12-month membership, the accumulated member box will be prepared for dispatch after the member has successfully completed the required 52 weekly payments and any applicable 12-month completion reward has been allocated.

Applicable postage or shipping charges will be communicated or charged in accordance with WSC's normal shipping arrangements unless WSC expressly states that shipping is included.

If the membership continues after the minimum commitment period, subsequent weekly allocations may begin accumulating in a new member box unless another arrangement is agreed with WSC.

Twelve-month completion reward

The value of each free weekly allocation corresponds with the member's selected weekly tier.

These bonus allocations do not create an additional minimum commitment period.

Master Duck rewards

For every successfully completed six-month membership milestone, members receive:

A member who completes a full 12-month membership may therefore receive the applicable reward at both the six-month and twelve-month milestones.

Master Ducks are promotional WSC rewards and are not redeemable for cash.

Any race, giveaway or promotional use of Master Ducks may also be subject to the applicable WSC promotion or giveaway rules.

Optional upfront payment

Customers who wish to pay their full minimum membership commitment upfront must contact Welcome Stranger Collectibles before purchasing or activating the standard online subscription .

Upfront payment is not available through the normal weekly subscription checkout.

WSC will provide the customer with the applicable upfront amount and payment arrangements before payment is made.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, all other Membership Terms continue to apply to upfront memberships.

Cancellation and notice

The 6-month and 12-month membership options are minimum commitments.

Customers may provide cancellation notice before the end of their minimum commitment, but cancellation cannot take effect before that minimum commitment has been satisfied unless required by law.

After the minimum commitment, one month's notice is required to cancel the membership.

If notice is provided after the minimum commitment has already been completed, normal weekly payments and allocations continue during the one-month notice period.

The membership does not automatically place the customer into another new 6-month or 12-month locked commitment after the original minimum period ends.

Unless cancelled, the membership continues on a weekly recurring basis after the original minimum commitment.

Failed or overdue payments

If a weekly subscription payment fails, WSC or its subscription provider may retry the payment using the nominated payment method.

WSC may temporarily pause future vintage pack allocations while amounts properly due under the membership remain unpaid.

Repeated payment failures may result in WSC contacting the customer to arrange payment or resolve the subscription.

Any rights WSC has under this section remain subject to the Australian Consumer Law and applicable law.

Changes to pack availability

Vintage trading card stock can vary significantly.

If a particular pack, set or product becomes unavailable, WSC may substitute another vintage pack or combination of packs of reasonably comparable value.

WSC will not materially reduce the member's core weekly membership entitlement without the member's agreement, except where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

Changes to membership pricing or terms

WSC will not increase an existing member's weekly subscription price during their original 6-month or 12-month minimum commitment without their agreement, except where required by law.

If WSC proposes a material change after the minimum commitment period, WSC will provide reasonable notice before that change applies.

Customers may exercise any cancellation rights available to them if they do not accept a proposed change.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Membership Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer rights can apply regardless of anything stated in a business's contract, and unfair terms in standard-form consumer contracts can be void or prohibited.

Acceptance of the Membership Terms

By purchasing a Rip & Ship Membership, the customer confirms that they understand and agree that:

• they will be charged their selected membership amount every week;
• their chosen membership carries either a 26-payment or 52-payment minimum commitment;
• allocated packs will be stored by WSC in their dedicated member box;
• the accumulated box will be dispatched after completion of the applicable term as described above;
• recurring weekly billing continues after the minimum commitment unless the customer cancels; and
• the cancellation and notice provisions in these Membership Terms apply.
